Our guest on this episode of The Creative Dad Pod is multifaceted daddy, Ivan Trejo. Owner and operator of the pop-up experience turned restaurant experience, Mastica. His new reataurant is creating food with flavors as diverse and fused together as Southern California. Or as Ivan best describes it, "A world chew"

Much like everyone on the food come up with little to no budget for marketing, Ivan was implementing his creative background in visual art into his business. Join us as we talk to this creative dad about keeping up with Mateo and Susana while opening up a restaurant, his dad going through cancer, approaching fatherhood making him run towards Mastica instead of away from it, and the loneliness of helping deliver a child during a pandemic.
