We're taking The Creative Dad Podcast down the street to Boyle Heights in Los Angeles. CA to visit hat maker, world traveler, mezcal ambassador, culture curator and social media influencer, Gilbert Marquez (@gilbertmezcal). Through this current Mexican-American renaissance of art. Culture, and marketing, Gilbert expresses that fine line of chicano tradition and the cultural progression through his very successful family owned Pachuco Supply (@pachucosupply) hats and brand. At Pachuco Supply headquarters we sit and talk to Gilbert about the sacrifices involved in juggling multiple careers, identifying the source of frustrations to limit projection, the differences in being raised chicano vs raising chicano, and more. Sure, the business might have over 136,000 Instagram followers and 16K+ on his personal account but I think the most important thing is he’s finds a way to still be an active husband to Cinthya and active father Frida.
